Fresh herbs and citrus transform bubbly into a savory-sweet aperitif.
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary + additional
- Ice cubes
- ¾ cup Limoncello
- 1 (187 ml.) btle. prosecco, chilled
- In pot, combine sugar, lemon juice and 1 sprig rosemary; over medium-low heat, bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and let stand until flavors blend, about 5 min. Strain. Let cool.
- In ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine syrup and Limoncello; cover. Shake until well chilled, 30 sec. Strain among 6 aperitif glasses; top with prosecco. Garnish with additional rosemary sprigs.
