To save time in the kitchen, cook these tender meatballs a day in advance and allow them to cool before storing in the fridge. When it’s time for dinner, simply nestle the meatballs into hoagie rolls, top with tomato sauce and cheese and broil until hot. You can also use other types of meat like ground turkey for leaner meatballs. Or, try a mixture of ground beef, veal and pork for added flavor and moisture. Turn these meatball heroes into a complete meal by serving them with chips, French fries or a refreshing salad and enjoy.
