Ruby Reindeer Cocktail

Rosemary-infused simple syrup adds a savory-sweet note to our take on a Salty Dog.

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 sprigs rosemary + additional
  • 1 lime wedge
  • kosher salt
  • Ice cubes
  • 6 oz. gin
  • 32 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice
  • 4 grapefruit slices limes wheels


  1. In pot, combine 2 oz. water, sugar and 2 sprigs rosemary. Over medium heat, cook until sugar dissolves and flavors blend, about 5 min.; strain. Chill.
  2. Rub rims of 4 rocks glasses with lime wedge; dip into salt. Fill glasses with ice. Evenly divide gin, grapefruit juice and rosemary syrup among glasses. Garnish with grapefruit slices, lime wheels and additional rosemary sprigs.
