Lisa Maxbauer is a senior nutrition writer at First for Women and Woman’s World magazines. She has been covering health news nationally for nearly 25 years and has been nominated for two Eddie Awards, and won one. Formerly, she has worked as senior editor at Physician’s Weekly, contributing writer at Guideposts, and guest blogger with The New York Times.
