This Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus Bundles Recipe Is a Side Dish Superhero

Whether you’re searching for a new veggie side dish idea, or you’re ready to take your party appetizer game up a notch, our bacon-wrapped asparagus bundles recipe has just what you’re looking for. Thanks to some clever prep that builds flavor, the veggie has a savory, herby, salty flavor that’s simply irresistible.

We start by blanching the asparagus in boiling water until just tender. That enhances its natural vibrant color. Next, we divide the spears into six bundles, wrap each one with bacon and place them all on a baking sheet. For a final delicious touch, we melt butter with lemon juice, garlic powder and thyme, and brush the infused mixture over the bacon and asparagus bundles before cooking. Talk about layers and layers of flavor! Give it a try and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
