This Flavor-Packed Greek Feta Salad Recipe Will Transport You to the Mediterranean

Our quick herbed vinaigrette doubles as a delicious marinade for grilled meats or veggies

I love salads because they’re so versatile and don’t require a ton of effort to whip up. But I have to admit that eating the same mix of salad all the time can be a bit, well, boring. That’s why our Greek Feta Salad recipe is one of my favorites — it’s so full of punchy, fresh flavors and is perfect for shaking up your lunch routine. Briny olives, tart tomatoes and don’t forget the creamy, crumbly feta … yum!

But what really sets this one apart is our herbed vinaigrette that comes together fast from scratch in the blender. I recommend making a double (or even triple batch!) to use on other salads or even as delicious marinade for all sorts of meats and veggies. Let us know in the comments if you give this one a try!

  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbs. red wine vinegar
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, torn into pieces, about 6 cups
  • 1 small cucumber, cutinto bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 1/2 cup drained pitted Kalamata olives
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 Tbs. chopped fresh dill + additional for garnish
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese, about 2 oz.



In blender or food processor, puree olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper until smooth; transfer to large serving bowl.

Add lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, red onion and 2 Tbs. dill; toss until evenly coated. Sprinkle with feta cheese. If desired, garnish with additional fresh dill.
