Creamy Brussels Sprouts Bake

Smoky bacon, heavy cream and Gruyère cheese up the yum factor for this traditional holiday veggie.

  • 1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen Brussels sprouts, thawed
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbs. Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp. dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked


  1. Heat oven to 325°F. Coat 2-qt. microwave-safe dish with cooking spray. Add sprouts; sprinkle with ½ cup cheese.
  2.  In bowl, whisk cream, eggs, mustard, thyme, salt and pepper; pour over sprouts. Bake 30 min.; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 10–15 min. until almost set. Cover; if necessary, reheat in microwave. Just before serving, crumble bacon and sprinkle on top.
