Add a spicy twist to regular sweet potatoes with this delicious chili sweet potato fries recipe. Picture crispy sweet potato fries, baked to golden perfection in the air fryer and dusted with a flavorful blend of chili powder, cumin and paprika. Now that’s comfort food with a fiery upgrade. - ⅔ cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp. fresh lime juice
- ½ tsp. ground cumin
- ½ tsp. ground coriander
- 1½ lbs. sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1⁄2"-thick fries
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- Paprika and chopped fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
PrintIn bowl, combine yogurt, lime juice, cumin and coriander; reserve. In separate bowl, coat sweet potatoes with cooking spray; toss with chili powder, ¼ tsp. salt and ¼ tsp. pepper.
Place crisper plate in basket of 5.5- qt. air fryer; coat with cooking spray. Place basket in air fryer; heat to air-fry at 350°F. Transfer potatoes to basket. Air-fry until tender, 15-20 min., shaking basket halfway through. Serve with reserved dipping sauce; if desired, top sauce with paprika and basil.
