Apple Cider Donuts

Ingredients
- 2½ cups refrigerated apple cider
- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1¾ cups sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
- In large bowl, combine flour, ¾ cup sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and ¼ tsp. salt. In separate bowl, whisk together cooled syrup, butter and egg; stir into flour mixture. Using hands, knead until dough forms. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface. Roll out to ½” thick. Using 2½” and 1″ round cutters, cut out donuts and centers, reshaping scraps as needed.
