UPDATE (10/14/15): This sweet shelter dog has been adopted! A couple in California saw the video and fell in love. They'd been thinking of getting a dog after theirs had died, and once they spotted Rush, knew he was the one. Talk about happy endings--and the power of the Internet!
Life in an animal shelter can be a cold, lonely place, but this pit bull named Rush is trying to make the best of it. Originally brought to this Ohio shelter as a stray pup, Rush has picked up the most endearing habit.

For 30 days straight, he's been making his bed, to the amazement of the shelter staff. They were so taken by the sight that they posted a video to YouTube, in the hopes that they can get this pittie adopted soon. We hope someone falls in love with him soon. After all, doesn't your heart melt at the sight of his wagging tail and hopeful eyes as he straightens his blanket?
