We've all been there after the shower's done. Maybe we're in a rush. Maybe we're cold. Maybe we're just eager to get dressed already.
But getting dressed before you're fully dry could be very harmful for your vaginal health.

As it turns out, putting underwear on before you completely dry off your privates is basically asking for a yeast infection, according to Jason James, M.D., medical director at Miami's FemCare Ob-Gyn.
"Yeast tends to thrive in a moist environment," he said. "That is why we tend to see more yeast infections during the warm summer months, when women don’t fully dry off after swimming, or from sweat accumulation in the genital area."
James says both towel drying and air drying work fine, but taking the short time to do it can make a huge difference.
