What mother doesn't remember that newborn stage when it was impossible to do much of anything except feed the baby? Every two to four hours--if you were lucky!--there was a wail from your precious bundle and it was time to pull out the breast or bottle and feed. All that feeding, burping, and changing made it tough to do anything else--including showering or eating.

So imagine the elation of one new mom when she could go actually get out of the house and treat herself to breakfast at a diner. That's what happened to Briar Lusia Mcqueen, of New Zealand, mom to 8-week-old Jaxon.
A server had just set down Mcqueen's breakfast and hot chocolate when Jaxon got hungry. Mcqueen, a breastfeeding mom, immediately began to nurse him. After a few minutes, an older woman walked up to her. "I was scared, thinking she was gonna tell me to put my boob away," Mcqueen wrote on Facebook. Instead, the older woman did something totally unexpected.

She cut up Mcqueen's food to make it easier for the mom to eat as she nursed her baby. She even praised Mcqueen for being a good mom, and added that she couldn't let her food get cold. No wonder the New Zealand mom wrote that she could have cried. We got tears in our eyes, too!
