When Canadian Nicole Kim, 26, and her husband went to their ultrasound appointment, they learned that they were having a boy with a positive outlook on life.
The zoomed-in picture of their unborn baby shows him giving a "thumbs up." The image received a lot of attention online once Kim shared it with her mom group on Facebook. Kim's husband recently lost his job in the oil industry and they believed the photo was "incredible" due to their circumstances.

"For me, it just made it seem like everything was going to be OK," she said. "Living in Calgary, there's a lot of people being laid off right now, and it's hard for our families. We know two other families dealing with it. I think the reason this went viral was because people wanted something to be happy about."
The child is due this summer and the expectant mom has two other sons, ages three and five, who she says seem delighted to meet their new brother.
"One of my sons likes to come and kiss my belly and hug it," Kim said. "They're so adorable with babies, so they're excited."
Their little brother even received some extra brownie points for that hilarious snapshot. "They thought it was really cool," Kim added.
