Nothing ruins a day quite like finding out halfway through that you’ve had a run in your brand new tights since morning. And out goes yet another pair for the season. Instead of carrying around a second pair and clear nail polish for pantyhose run emergencies, simply change the way you store them.
You can extend the life of your pantyhose and make the fibers stronger--preventing tears and runs--by freezing them, according to Pure Wow. And you only need to do it once per pair. Simply run a new pair of tights under a faucet until they’re damp before sticking them in a plastic bag. Freeze them in the bag overnight, and in the morning give them time to defrost and thaw before putting them on--especially if you’re running out into the cold.
Now you can finally run all your errands without worrying about runs in your tights.
