It's been a little over two years since the incredibly talented Robin Williams passed away, and though he may not be here today he'll forever be remembered for his inspiring and iconic movies and TV roles. And his films like Jack, Hook, and Mrs. Doubtfire will continually remind fans to stay young at heart — something he tried to do himself.
After his untimely passing, Mara Wilson, who was only six years old when she filmed Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin, wrote a blog post attesting to the actor's lively attitude.
"Robin would do anything to make me and the other kids laugh. Those hand puppets that dance alongside the genie in Aladdin‘s 'Friend Like Me'? That must have been his suggestion, because Robin made those in real life. He’d break them out between takes to entertain us between takes," she wrote. "He seemed to know instinctively what we would find funny, and never had to resort to saying anything that was inappropriate for children."
