There's no question that divorce and remarriage can be difficult. Even in the most amicable splits, it's common for there to be some resentment. But this divorced couple and their child's stepparents prove that it is indeed possible for good to come out of painful decisions.
Jamey and Tara were married for seven years and had a son named Nak. Unfortunately, their marriage didn't work and they parted ways. But fortunately, two amazing people entered their family.
Tara married a man named Jason, and Jamey married a woman named Natasha. Tara and Jamey were so blessed because Jason and Natasha both made an amazing effort to bond with Nak. So Jamey and Tara decided to write letters to the stepparents and read them aloud to thank them for the huge role they've played in his life.
Tara had moving things to say to Natasha.
She said, "I was not being replaced, but you were only adding more love into Nak’s life."
Jamey also had touching things to say about Jason.
He said, "You’re doing the things I couldn’t do. And I love you for that, man."
Watch the stepparents' amazing reactions to the letters in the touching video below.
