But Hill, of Manchester, England, was determined to shed pounds, so she warned the shop that her dress might need altering later. And then she made two major tweaks to her diet: She swapped her beloved soda for water, and stopped eating fast foods and overly processed foods. Instead, the 28-year-old ate homecooked meals like chicken and veggies, and snacked on special weight-loss shakes provided by the Cambridge Plan.

She also started started eating breakfast, a meal she'd skipped before.
It paid off! She dropped 119 pounds in six months. When she went for a fitting three weeks before the wedding, the shop owners told her the original dress was too big to alter. So Hill bought a new one--a stunning fishtail dress. She kept it a secret--and wowed the guests on her wedding day.
Since that big day, she's lost even more weight, and now is 185 pounds!
