Buttered Rum and Apple Hot Toddy

Ingredients
- 2 cups apple cider
- 2 Tbs. butter
- 1 Tbs. packed dark brown sugar
- ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp. ground nutmeg
- ⅔ cup dark rum
Instructions
- In pot, combine cider, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Over medium heat, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer until sugar has dissolved, about 2 min.
- Remove pot from heat; add rum. Divide among 4 heatproof glasses or mugs.
