Sangria is simply a wine punch infused with fresh fruit. This delicious drink originated in Spain and has been around for centuries. It’s one of my favorite summertime sips. And you can customize it with any wine or fruit you like. For our Limoncello Sangria recipe, we use dry rosé. It makes a refreshing drink that’s perfect for any get-together.
For a tart-sweet base, we muddle citrus fruit with honey and mint. “Muddling” is a technique mixologists use to mash ingredients and release flavor. If you don’t have a muddler, simply use the back of a wooden spoon. We stir a splash limoncello in with the rosé. The zingy liqueur perfectly complements crisp wine. Now all that’s left to do is sit back and relax while the flavors blend. To serve, top with soda and get ready to imbibe. Whip up a batch yourself. Then let us know — do you have a favorite sangria recipe?
