Bourbon-Spiced Apple Cider

Apple bourbon and mulling spices transform this seasonal favorite into an adults-only winter warmer.

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 2 Tbs. mulling spices
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 apple, cored, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup apple bourbon
  • 4 cinnamon sticks


  1. In pot, combine cider, mulling spices and rosemary; over medium-low heat, bring to simmer. Cook until flavors blend, about 10 min. Strain.
  2. Divide apple slices among 4 heat-proof mugs or glasses. Dividing evenly, pour bourbon and hot cider over apples. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and rosemary sprigs.
