Amazon Prime Day starts next week (July 11 and July 12) and personally, I’m excited. Even though I’m a Commerce Editor, I’m very discerning (a.k.a. frugal) about what I spend my money on, and a lot of my must-haves I buy on Amazon Prime Day.
For one thing, I really like a deal, and the two-day event is filled with them!
Secondly, there are sales on the things you actually want and need, like new jeans, for example. I’ve been working on my wish list for a while, and it’s mainly clothing and beauty products. However, I’ve also been on the lookout for a new sofa, vacuum, and other home goods which have discounts attached.

I don’t travel enough (yet) to spend a lot on luggage., so this 8-wheel suitcase from U.S. Traveler is the perfect size and price. Its hardshell exterior makes it impervious to being banged around in handling, plus it’s also waterproof. The wheels spin 360 degrees to handle sudden turns, and the interior is fully line and has a zippered center. Another plus? That it’s available in several, easy to spot colors.

It’s narrow, which is great for small spaces, and is stable enough if you want it for long runs.

Most of us are busy, so it’s nice having a helping hand when it comes to cleaning. Since I’m not spending money on a housekeeper, this robot vacuum is the next best thing. This specific one has ample toe room, EVA foam for a comfier stride, and are waterproof! I’m partial to them in black, but they also come in yellow, green, and grey.

A rug is an easy way to tie a space together and add some personal style. Depending on the size, they can definitely run you a pretty penny, which is why I save the purchase for Amazon Prime shopping. This one is low pile, stain resistant, and under $100. If you’re not feeling the look in blue and orange (photo above), check it out in grey, purple, and orange, or purple and grey. Available in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Frownies The Original Wrinkle Patch
I love Frownies! They’ve been around for 130 years and really do help soften forehead lines. They basically operate similar to face tape, making it difficult for you to make the expressions that, over time, create wrinkles. There are 144 patches in a box, so they last a long time, and I had no problem sleeping with them. They also work for around the eyes, and don’t slip off as easily as silicone-based face patches.
CRZ YOGA Women’s Strappy Sports Bras Fitness Workout Padded Yoga Bra Criss Cross Back
Sports bras are surprisingly expensive, so I’m always hunting for one that’s supportive and affordable. This one from Crz Yoga is ideal for Pilates, walking, and other low impact sports. And since it doesn’t have underwire, it makes a very comfortable sleep bra too!
