Rachel Cosma

Rachel Cosma is an award-winning writer and editor with more than 15 years of experience covering health, wellness and human-interest stories. She currently serves as the Health Director at a360media’s Woman’s World and First for Women magazines, with a focus on health, wellness and nutrition. While writing for these publications, she received the Health Information Resource Center’s National Health Information Merit Award. Before being named Health Director, she was a writer for Woman’s World magazine, covering human-interest stories, finance, wellness and beauty. She began her career writing for Gannett’s Courier Post newspaper, where she covered human-interest feature stories and received the New Jersey Library Association’s Power of the Press Journalism Award.

She is a summa cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in psychology. While in college, she wrote for Seton Hall’s undergraduate newspaper, The Setonian. She was awarded second place in the New Jersey Collegiate Press Association’s Better College Newspaper Contest for investigative reporting, and third place in the Society of Professional Journalists’ Mark of Excellence Regional Competition for general news reporting. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Jason, baking for family and friends, and spoiling her rescue dog, Nala.
