Thanks to layers of premade pound cake, fresh fruit and three flavors of mousse mix, this gorgeous and delicious no-bake dessert is a cinch to make
1 box (3.1 oz.) *dark-chocolate mousse mix, *like Dr. Oetker
1 box (3.1 oz.) strawberry mousse mix
1 box (3.1 oz.)** vanilla mousse mix**
2 1/4 cups low-fat milk, divided
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, divided
1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
2 large bananas, sliced
2 pkgs. (16 oz. each) frozen** pound cake, **like Sara Lee, thawed
1 pkg. (16 oz.) vanilla frosting
1/4 cup shaved coconut, toasted
6 maraschino cherries with stems
In separate bowls, prepare each mousse mix according to package directions, using 3/4 cup milk for each.
Stir 1/2 cup chopped walnuts into chocolate mousse. Stir strawberries into strawberry mousse. Stir 1/2 cup sliced bananas into vanilla mousse.
Level pound cakes, if desired. Cut each cake horizontally into 4 equal layers to create a total of 8 cake layers.
Place 2 layers side by side on serving platter; spread evenly with chocolate-mousse mixture. Add 2 cake layers, gently pressing; spread with strawberry-mousse mixture. Repeat with 2 cake layers and vanilla-mousse mixture. Top with last 2 cake layers, gently pressing to flatten.
Chill 1 hr. Coat cake with vanilla frosting. Garnish with remaining walnuts, remaining bananas, shaved coconut and cherries.
