The post has since gone viral. But the story doesn't stop there. Margolis was able to catch up with Dan after the fact, and when he found out about how many people wanted to help him, he "couldn't stop grinning."
Now, Margolis has hatched an action plan to get the kind man some help. He's already taken him to a shelter to stay at until he has permanent accommodation. Next, he plans to see if he needs any medication. And in the meantime, he is collecting all the offers from people who want to help--cash, donations, realistic job offers--to get him truly back on his feet.
