Creamy and So Easy Peach Melba Panna Cottas Recipe Is a Delightful Summer (Or Any Time!) Treat

This layered dessert-in-a-glass can be made up to a day ahead

Panna cotta means “cooked cream” in Italian. This silky-smooth delight is made with a mix of cream, milk and sugar. It’s heated on the stove top, then thickened up with gelatin instead of eggs. The result is a luscious custard-like texture that’s irresistible. Typically topped with fruit puree, this classic is super-easy to make yet elegant at the same time.

To speed things up, for our Peach Melba Panna Cottas recipe, we use half-and-half. It combines two ingredients in one so there’s less to measure. A dash of vanilla extract gives it an extra dose of deliciousness. We whip up fruit purees for the toppings. But for a fun twist, mix in gelatin, then layer the whole thing together in glasses. It’s light, cool and refreshing. Plus, it pairs perfectly with a go-to summer beverage, iced coffee. Let us know how much you love this Peach Melba Panna Cotta recipe. Then leave us a comment below.
