5-Ingredient Appetizers That Are Delicious and Easy to Make

When you’re in a pinch but. have guests to entertain, your best bet is to throw together a few easy-to-nosh-on appetizers you’re sure the whole group will love. Elegant yet oh so easy, these tasty starters come together in a flash — and they’re guaranteed to disappear just as fast. The best part? They only require a few ingredients!

Crab Cucumber Cups

Ranch dressing and Old Bay seasoning are the secret ingredients that make these bites irresistible.

To Make: Cut 2 mini cucumbers into 1-inch-thick rounds; scoop out centers, leaving ¼″-thick cups. Mix 8 oz. pasteurized lump crab meat (drained), 2 Tbs. ranch salad dressing and 1 Tbs. minced fresh chives; spoon into cucumber cups. Sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning. Serves 6

Turkey Meatballs

A splash of red wine elevates jarred pasta sauce and deepens the flavor of these pre-made meatball appetizers.

To make: Coat skillet with cooking spray; add 1 chopped red pepper. Cook over medium heat 5 min. Add ½ cup red wine; cook 2 min. Stir in 1 (24 oz.) jar tomato basil pasta sauce, ½ tsp. paprika and 12 (1 oz.) frozen fully cooked turkey meatballs (thawed). Simmer 15 min. Serves 6

Spinach-Feta Squares

Coating phyllo with butter ensures it bakes up extra flaky!

To make: Mix 1 cup frozen spinach (thawed, squeezed dry), 1 Tbs. minced onion and 1 cup crumbled feta. Stack 4 sheets phyllo on baking pan, brushing each layer with melted butter. Top with spinach mixture and 4 more phyllo sheets, buttering each. Bake at 375°F, 20 min.; cut into squares. Serves 8
