Ingredients

  • 3 cups packaged fresh coleslaw mix
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. + 2 Tbs. packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbs. molasses
  • 1 Tbs. spicy brown mustard
  • 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cups shredded cooked turkey
  • 6 Kaiser rolls, split

Instructions

  1. In bowl, toss coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, 1 Tbs. vinegar, 1 tsp. sugar, ¼ tsp. salt and ⅛ tsp. pepper until well combined and saucy. Cover and reserve.
  2. In large pot, preferably nonstick, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion; cook, stirring occasionally, until starting to soften, 5 minutes. Add garlic; cook, stirring, until fragrant, 30 seconds.
