Goldie Hawn Shares Her Secret to Staying Fit and Having Fun at 74

We love her energy!

Gyms around the country are closed right now, and many of us are doing our best to stay in shape with at-home workouts. We’re not going to lie, it’s tough to get motivated to move during quarantine. But Goldie Hawn is here to show us that exercising at home can be fun — while making us smile when we need it most!

On May 13, Hawn posted a video to Instagram showing her latest at-home workout routine — on a mini trampoline! That’s right. The actress, now 74, appears hopping and dancing in the video, waving her arms around, and looking like she’s having an absolute blast.

“My crazy @mindup mindful movement for today. Dance, jump and twirl like nobody’s watching ❤️💃🏼⁣⁣and thanks @dualipa for the best addition to my trampoline playlist!😘🔥⁣#letsgetphysical,” she captioned the video. And fans went wild! Lisa Rinna commented “Go Goldie!!!!” while Katie Couric said “Go Goldie Go! 👍🏼❤️😍.” Other fans chimed in saying “love her energy” and “she’s my spirit animal,” — we’d have to agree with that!

Let’s face it, Hawn is in incredible shape, and it’s nice to see that she keeps herself healthy by doing something she clearly loves. She has been a long-time lover of dance, she even was a children’s ballet instructor before she became famous. Check out her moves in the video below!

Goldie Hawn shows us that getting fit at any age doesn’t have to mean intense grueling workouts, which is welcome news during this pandemic. If anything, we could all use a little more light-hearted fun in our lives right now, and dancing and waving your arms in the air to your favorite tune seems like the perfect way to lift our spirits. We’ll be taking her advice and will be getting our groove on like no one’s watching!
