New App Will Give You a $15 Starbucks Gift Card for Dining Out

There’s nothing worse than getting to your favorite restaurant only to find that there’s a three-hour wait and the chairs in the seating area are occupied. So instead of wasting your time getting dressed up for dinner only to leave feeling hangry (hungry and angry), why not use an app that lets your reserve your table ahead of time and pays you to do it?

Enter Seated, a phone app that lets you make a reservation at a restaurant on their list and rewards you for doing so. If you book through the app, the company credits your account with gift cards to places like Starbucks, Amazon, or Uber. And it’s not a measly $5 gift card; Seated gives you a whole $15 towards your purchase. That’s enough for two frappuccinos: one for you and one for your grandkid.

MUST-SEE: Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Buy Chicken With a White Stripe

If the app sounds familiar to you, that might be because Seated has existed before, but it had a few different functions that no longer exist today. Using the old app, diners could pay for dinner at their table and flag an Uber — which they could pay for using their Seated rewards. Doesn’t that sound so much better than having to spend 15 minutes trying to flag down the waiter only to wait another 15 before you get the check? We vote that they bring that feature back!

Available in 10 cities around the country and with 2,000 restaurants on their lists, the Seated app sounds like a dream come true. To get paid for eating out? Yes, please! And with so many restaurants on the list, you’re sure to find something to please everyone. Even if you and your hubby have a hard time making decisions, the best part is that you can go to a restaurant of your choice one week and your husband’s choice the next.

Now that’s a good deal!
