Shannen Doherty Will Appear in ‘Heathers’ TV Land Reboot
More news about Shannen Doherty–and this time, it’s about her career. Though the actress has been undergoing a heart-wrenching battle with breast cancer since 2015–and candidly sharing updates with her fans and well-wishers throughout the journey–she just revealed she’ll be joining the upcoming TV Land reboot of Heathers.
Doherty, who played Heather Duke in the original 1988 cult classic movie Heathers, made the announcement via her Instagram account.
“Sneak peek from the #Heathers set….. jealous much?” wrote the actress, who will play an as-yet-unnamed role in the TV remake, which is currently in production. The photo shows her sporting the same red scrunchie her character wears in the original dark comedy.
Is anyone else as excited as we are?!
Best of luck to Shannen in both her ongoing health issues and this fun new work project. We know she’ll be amazing–and she’ll have plenty of supporters tuning in.
