How to Score Free Fries From McDonald’s Every Friday This June

Tags:

Imagine walking into a McDonald’s to order a quick bite and not saying yes when asked, would you like fries with that? Impossible, right? Well, now you can get those delicious salty potato sticks totally free of charge throughout the month of June — but there’s a few small catches.

First, they’re only giving away the fries on Fridays (or “Fry-days”) and you have to spend at least $1 to get them. We recommend using that buck for a soft drink to wash the savory bites down. The freebie fries are also only available in medium size and you have to order through the restaurant’s mobile app to get the deal. Oh, and it’s limited to one order per mobile user each Friday.

That’s it! Not too shabby for some scrumptious summertime snacking. The promotion is available through June 28, but the last Friday of the month is actually on June 26. You can get a jump start before the month rolls over by snagging a free medium fry with your first mobile app order! There’s no purchase necessary for this one time deal and you don’t have to wait for a Friday.

Using the mobile app isn’t just convenient for getting our food as quickly as possible, it’s also a pretty smart way to maintain social distancing procedures as we wait for the COVID-19 pandemic to fully calm down. You can place your order and pick it up in the drive-thru or curbside delivery. Easy-peasy and safe!

If you’re looking for a way to satisfy your carb cravings without hitting up the golden arches — or just want an at least slightly healthier at-home option — try whipping up a batch of perfectly crispy oven fries. The recipe uses much less oil and might just make you forget about drive-thru’s altogether.

Whichever way you go, we’re sure you’ll be “lovin’ it.”
