Jennifer Aniston Is Ready to Date Again! How She’s Easing Back Into It at 52

Tags:

Jennifer Aniston has had her dating life splashed across the tabloids for decades, and after taking a break during the pandemic, she says she might be ready to open herself back up to love again. Just don’t expect her to download a fancy app anytime soon!

Aniston recently sat down with businessman Bruce Bozzi on his new SiriusXM podcast Lunch With Bruce to talk about her career, her personal life, and more. When asked if she was seeing anyone, she replied that she’d been too busy recently to even think about dating. “No one of importance has hit my radar yet,” she explained. “But I think it’s time. I think I’m ready to share myself with another.”

That said, Aniston has enjoyed her time being single and not quickly jumping into something new. She was previously married to actor Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and actor Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018, and more recently, fans of her hit show Friends were whipped into a frenzy over a rumor that she was dating her former onscreen love interest David Schwimmer. (It turned out to be false, though they did have crushes early on in the show’s run back in the 1990s!).

“I didn’t want to [date] for a long time, and I loved really being my own woman without being a part of a couple,” she reflected. “I’ve been a part of a couple since I was 20, so there was something really nice about taking the time.”

So, how does Aniston plan on meeting that lucky someone? She’s leaning away from the internet. “No Tinders and no Rayas please,” she continued. “I’m an old school girl. People don’t come up to people anymore; people don’t do that. It’s weird.” (Luckily, Tinder and Raya aren’t the only dating apps for women to find love — there are plenty like eHarmony, Lumen, and more that can help.)

No matter what direction Jennifer Aniston goes in when it comes to dating though, we hope she finds what she’s looking for!
