Rebecca Haynes

Rebecca Haynes is the deputy health director at A360Media’s First for Women and Woman’s World magazines, where she creates and edits content for both the print publications and their websites. Focused on women’s health, particularly in relation to menopause and its impact both physically and emotionally, she strives to furnish readers with information they need to live their healthiest and happiest lives. 

Previously, Rebecca served as the editor of a regional women’s health magazine (HealthyLife) formerly published by the Hearst Connecticut Media Group. And she spent 20 years as a journalist at Greenwich Time and The (Stamford) Advocate, where she enjoyed honing her skills by moving between a variety of positions, including copy editor, news editor, a features writer/editor and special publications editor. She began her career as a general assignment reporter at The Lake County Telegraph in northeastern Ohio, and also worked as a copy editor, food editor and features editor for The Observer & Eccentric, a newspaper chain in suburban Detroit. 

A graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Rebecca is the recipient of numerous awards for reporting and editing from the Society of Professional Journalists. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the beauty of the Hudson Valley by hiking and boating, and loves spending time with friends and family, especially her two granddaughters.
