R. Mark Ellerkmann, MD

R. Mark Ellerkmann, MD, FACOG, is Director of The Urogynecology Center at Mercy, a division of The Gynecology Center at Mercy and part of the renowned Weinberg Center for Women’s Health & Medicine at Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Mark Ellerkmann is among a small group of urogynecologists who are Board Certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Ellerkmann is a skilled surgeon in robotic and laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Ellerkmann has a strong interest in minimally invasive treatment options for overactive bladder and urge incontinence as well as minimally invasive treatment options to treat fecal incontinence. Named a “Top Doctor” by both Baltimore magazine as well as Castle Connolly Medical, Dr. Ellerkmann has served on the board of the American Urogynecological Society and has lectured nationally and internationally on urogynecology topics. He is an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
