Carey Ostergard

Carey Ostergard is a writer/editor/content creator with almost 20 years of experience specializing in entertainment, psychology, inspiration, travel, books and more. Over the last 16 years, she has risen through the ranks and now serves as Executive Editor for the print and digital platforms of FIRST for Women and Woman’s World magazines, bringing uplifting and sought-after content to millions of women each week. She also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of a variety of inspirational special issue publications each year. Previously, her writing and editing appeared in multiple travel and lifestyle magazines including Simple Grace, National Geographic Adventure, D Magazine and Southwest: The Magazine. Carey has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Texas A&M University in College Station and also earned a Masters in Journalism at The University of North Texas, graduating magna cum laude. In her free time, she loves reading fantasy novels, travelling, restoring her 170-year-old home and spending time with her husband and feisty cattle dog.
