Carol Brooks
Carol Brooks is a writer/editor/creative director with a 30-year track record of success at national consumer magazines. She has overseen First for Women for the past 22 years, first as Editor in Chief and currently as Editorial Director, in which capacity she also oversees Woman’s World and the digital platforms for both magazines. Her writing has appeared in Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, USA Today, Simple Grace and Prevention. With a primary focus on health, nutrition, psychology and wellness, Brooks is also skilled at covering the Entertainment and Christian beats. Brooks graduated from Johns Hopkins University cum laude and has pursued graduate education at Stanford University (Directing and Dramatic Criticism) and Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo.
