‘Today’ Show’s Savannah Guthrie Welcomes Baby Boy with Smiling Makeup-Free Photos

UPDATE (3/24) — Three months after the birth of her second child, Savannah Guthrie knows exactly what kind of mother she wants to be. And it all has to do with what kind of mother her own mom was for her.

“I try to copy pretty much everything my mom did, even though at the time, I probably didn’t appreciate it,” Guthrie said in a new interview with People. “Now I just love how no-nonsense she was. I’m like, ‘I’m gonna be an ’80s mom, like no-nonsense Nancy Guthrie.’ That’s how I’m gonna roll, too. She was right. She didn’t put up with anything.”

(12/9/2016) — Congratulations are in order for Savannah Guthrie: It’s a boy!

The TODAY show anchor and her husband, Michael Feldman, welcomed their second child together in the morning hours of Thursday, Dec. 8: a son named Charles Max Feldman. And boy, is he a cutie!

Photos of the new baby–along with his makeup-free mom, looking overjoyed–were shared by the TODAY show on Twitter. Guthrie then shared the news with her own followers as well.

“We are so grateful. Blessings overflow. Along with tears of joy,” she wrote. The message included a slew of intimate photos showing Guthrie and her husband holding the little one, and even a cute pic of her co-host and friend, Matt Lauer, visiting little Charley. We’re so used to seeing Guthrie all dressed up on TV, so it’s refreshing to see her in all her natural, ecstatic new-mom glory, don’t you agree?

Guthrie, 44, and Feldman also have a 2-year-old daughter, Vale. Best wishes to the growing family!
