When Jon & Kate Plus 8 aired for the first time in 2007, the world fell in love with the eight Gosselin children. Even though the couple went through a messy divorce, and the show was renamed Kate Plus 8, there’s no denying just how much these little kiddos have grown. Can you believe the twins, Mady and Cara, just celebrated their 16th birthday? Boy, does time fly!

Hardcore fans might remember when Jon and Kate Gosselin’s story first appeared on the Discovery Health Channel. At the time, they had two specials called Surviving Sextuplets and Twins and One Year Later. In 2008, the show moved to TLC—and as those twins and sextuplets wiggled their way into our hearts, the rest was history.

After just two seasons of Kate Plus 8, TLC announced they would be canceling the show once it hit 150 episodes in 2011. However, in August 2014, TLC announced that the Gosselin children would return to TV screens for another season. With three more episodes set to air in July 2017, who knows how much longer Kate and her brood will grace our TV screens. At least we can say we knew them when they were just teeny-tiny little babies.
