The 2017 Golden Globes promises to be a star-studded affair, with stars like Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Sofía Vergara all arriving to The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles in their best red carpet looks.
As for Sarah, it’s been 10 years since she walked the Globes red carpet, and this year she looks as pretty as a bride — literally! The 52-year-old actress is decked out in a white Vera Wang wedding dress. The actress credits her mother for being the inspiration behind her bridal-inspired look.
“Actually, there’s a photograph of my mother getting married, and her hair is like this, so I mentioned it in conversation with Serge Normant, who does my hair,” she told host Natalie Morales during NBC’s red carpet special. “And though we didn’t think we were going to do this, this ended up being what we did.”
This year she’s nominated for Best Actress for her role in the HBO show Divorce, her first nomination since her Sex and the City days.
“I love [my Divorce character],” she said about the show. “She’s complicated and human and surprising and enormously challenging and I’m surrounded by all these wonderful actors.”
