Savannah Guthrie’s Son, Charley, Celebrates His First Birthday

What a quick year! Today star Savannah Guthrie took to Instagram on Friday, December 8, to remind fans that today is her baby son, Charley’s, first birthday — and all we can say is boy has time flown by!

The 45-year-old gave her little man some sweet shout-outs alongside a plethora of cute photos of him. “From his first day to his first year, this child is joy. Happy birthday Charley!!! Thanking God for this best of blessings❤️,” Savannah sweetly wrote next to one album. Another cute pic collection read, “Life motto: Always Be Smiling.” If one thing’s for sure, it’s Charley is always smiling!

Savannah — who is also a mom to 3-year-old daughter Vale with husband, Mike Feldman, — has given us a look at Charley’s first year of life since he was born on social media, but everyone can’t seem to forget his adorable Today debut back in March alongside his big sis during Savannah’s first week back to work following a three-month maternity leave.

“It’s so exciting — I just had to show them off,” the mom-of-two told her Today co-stars on-air at the time. “I’m so happy and we have the best time. I ended maternity leave this week and I thought, ‘Well, this is what I’ve been doing! I’ve been hanging out with these wonderful people.'”

“He’s good,” Mike said of his little son’s TV debut. “But, he wanted a little bit more time in the makeup chair!” Just like his famous mama, Charley loved being in front of the cameras! “He’s very smiley,” Savannah remarked of her baby boy’s reaction to being on television. “Normally Vale is too, but [she doesn’t like her] microphone.”

Savannah previously revealed, however, that she’s done having children, especially because she’s so happy with Vale and Charley. “I am so happy with my two little ones. I think that’s a wrap for me!” she said. As far as her opinion on motherhood? “It’s wild. It’s great. Luckily, Charley, the baby, is really pretty mellow and pretty easy — because Vale is such a pistol,” she said in a previous interview.

But the mom guilt is so real. “I have terrible mom guilt. It is so real. I’m hardly ever away from my kids. I mean, hardly ever. I feel sick inside when I’m not with them — I really do feel almost physically ill,” she said. So adorable. Happy Birthday, Charley!
