40 of Princess Diana’s Best Fashion Moments We’re Still Fawning Over
Tags:
Today would have been Princess Diana’s 59th birthday. She remains in all of our hearts for countless reasons, including her work with various charities that lives on through her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. She also set an example for them with her grace under the scrutiny of the public eye. And of course, we’re all still talking about her incredible fashion choices.
Before Kate and Meghan appeared on the covers of countless magazines with their glamorous looks, Diana was setting a whole new precedent for what royal style really meant. In fact, her daughters-in-law have her to thank for paving the way so they can bend those “royal rules” when it comes to getting dressed each day. Remember how the first time Diana was photographed wearing jeans caused a scandal?
Diana also knew how to use her clothing to her advantage. For instance, she would wear the same sweatshirt every time she left the gym in order to bore the paparazzi waiting outside to get snaps of her. Well, ironically, that sweatshirt sold at an auction for a very un-boring price of $53,532 last year!
Take a look below for Princess Diana’s classic fashion choices that still we’re still fawning over today.
