Baby Monitor Captures Vertically Challenged Grandma Falling Headfirst Into the Crib
Grandparents make amazing babysitters, so we imagine the mom of the baby in this video was ever so grateful to her mom for putting her sweet little one to bed. But we also can’t blame her for CRACKING up when she saw what the baby monitor captured.
The video, which is spreading like wildfire, shows Valerie Sharp, or “Vivi,” as she is known to her grandchildren, using a step stool to help her better maneuver the baby, 11-month-old Lola, into her bed.

“If I don’t use the step stool, my arms are a foot away from the bottom of the crib. I would have to drop the baby onto the mattress, and she would wake up,” explained Vivi, who is 5’1, to TODAY.
As you see in the hilarious clip, the short-and-sweet grandma from Hunstville, AL, climbs the stool, slowly reaches over into the crib, ever so careful to not disturb the sleeping Lola–and then something truly shocking happens.

P.S. We were extra glad to find out that nobody–not the baby or Vivi–was hurt at all in the spill. That means this is one story this family can laugh about for years to come.
