Staying hydrated is important for almost every bodily function that keeps us in great health. But when you’re trying to drink half of your weight in ounces of water every day, the constant bathroom trips can make the task seem impossible. Luckily, there are even easier ways to get H20 that don’t require all the hassle, and have other health benefits, too! One way is to eat foods that are rich in water.

Water-rich foods are, yes, composed largely of water. According to the USDA, there are plenty of fruits and vegetables that can help you consume enough water. When you eat water-rich foods, your cells absorb that water through the digestive system slower which will help you stay hydrated. Below, see a list of our favorite water-rich foods you can add to your diet that will help you stay hydrated and won’t send you running to the bathroom.
