Walmart Has Started Selling Affordable and Delicious Meal Kits
We all know and love Walmart for the exceptionally low prices and enormous selection of products, but now there’s a whole new reason to visit the chain. Walmart is now selling affordable meal kits — and they sound absolutely delicious.
“With more than 70 million items on our site, we continue to look for new options to offer customers,” a Walmart spokesperson said. “This includes meal delivery kits that give customers convenient options to plan and prepare meals.”

If you’re a busy parent, you know how challenging it is to prepare meals to feed your whole family. It’s tough enough figuring out how much of each ingredient you need for a meal for one person, let alone three, four, or more! Apart from being a lot of hard work, it’s also very time-consuming. Takeout or delivery can be a godsend in times like these, but let’s be honest: It gets old eating the same thing over and over again. It’s never going to feel quite as special as something you make at home.
This is where Walmart, as usual, enters in to save the day with these new meal kits. The company partnered with brands like Home Chef and Takeout Kit to sell the kits, which include yummy takeout-inspired options like “Vietnamese Pho Noodle Soup” as well as plans for special dietary needs like “No Gluten Ingredients.”. The kits are available on the Walmart website and are super wallet-friendly, ranging in price from $32 to $79.60.

There are a lot of meal kits on the market these days, but a lot of them are much pricier than Walmart’s new kits. Considering that you get such a wide range of options — from classic comfort food you know and love to more adventurous cuisine you might not have tried before — the meal kits certainly sound promising.
