When it comes to fun-to-shop-for beauty accessories, a nose hair trimmer is probably not at the top of your list. In fact, it’s something no one ever wants to admit they need. But we’ve found a version that’s so adorable, you just might want to show it off to all your friends (OK, fine — maybe just your closest ones): Meet Pop Sonic’s printed hair trimmer ($39.50, QVC).

Designed to look like a pen when it’s closed so as not to give away its nose hair-zapping abilities, this floral-printed cutie comes in a set of three. It’s also equipped to handle any unwanted nose, eyebrow, upper lip, and chin fuzz you may see sprouting. “It’s fantastic in small crevices [and] delicate areas,” wrote one QVC reviewer.

That’s good news, since an increase in facial hair growth (including, yes, hair that’s found in the nose) is one of those facts of aging that we have no choice but to embrace, right alongside indignities such as reading glasses when we used to have 20/20 vision, stubbornly-expanding waistlines, and our once-sharp memories that now tend to get a little foggy.

These little nose trimmers take three AAA batteries (included with purchase), so they’re completely portable — no need to plug them in or recharge. Simply switch them on and gently run them over the surface you want to smooth (watch the video below to see it in action).

“This is a great little tool to have,” raved one reviewer. “It works for trimming stray hairs and keeping eyebrows in line. I love that it fits in my makeup bag and is not much bigger than an eyeliner pencil.”

Added another happy shopper, “I was looking for a trimmer that’s portable and somewhat discreet. This Pop Sonic trimmer is perfect. It’s easy to use, works flawlessly, and is lightweight and portable, all while being cute. I couldn’t ask for more — it’s amazing!”

Many others mentioned buying them to give as gifts, which is a lovely idea, since they come in a three-pack. Then again, if you’re anything like us, you might want to get several sets, so you can keep all three for yourself: one for your medicine cabinet at home, one to carry in your purse, and one to stash in the glove compartment of your car, where the natural light can bring out stray hairs and tiny wrinkles like nobody’s business.

Hey, if we have to get after any unruly hairs, we might as well have fun dealing with them, right?
