Jennifer Lopez Buys Her Moisturizer From Whole Foods

Jennifer Lopez has the type of skin that makes you believe the fountain of youth really exists. At 50 years young, she’s got a mega-watt glow that won’t be denied. Whether she was simply born with age-defiant genes or she’s found the skincare regimen to end all regimens, we’re willing to try just about anything this bombshell recommends — especially when it comes to moisturizer

An interview with Andy Cohen from 2014 in which she dished on her go-to hydrator has recently resurfaced, and as it turns out, Lopez’s skincare product of choice is one you can have shipped to your door via Amazon overnight — for less than $35!

When asked on Watch What Happens Live about rumors that she doused her body in La Mer’s pricey Crème de La Mer moisturizer (from $90, Nordstrom), the “Waiting for Tonight” singer replied that she actually buys her moisturizer of choice, Dr. Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream ($32.22, Amazon) at Whole Foods.

This 100 percent natural day cream, manufactured in Germany, aims to “capture the strength and softness of the rose” via rose petal extracts, wild rose hips, which nurture and balance, plus shea butter, rose petal wax, and avocado oil to protect.

With healthy doses of marshmallow and St. John’s wort to quell redness and irritation and fortify skin, even those with sensitive complexions will delight in the splendors of this day cream, which is suitable for all skin types.

To use, squeeze a small amount into palms to warm before using on your face and neck — you can even use it on your earlobes!

More than 450 five-star reviewers are on board with Lopez’s find, saying that the subtle rose scent is “lovely” and that it won’t clog pores, despite its thick formula.

Wrote one happy shopper: “I think it has helped my aging skin (I am over 60) in avoiding crepey-ness and wrinkles. I don’t claim it’s stopped the aging process but I haven’t had to resort to wearing turtlenecks and neck scarves yet!”

Added another: “I’ve been using this face cream daily for 30+ years. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve needed a heavier cream and this one is perfect. My face is wonderfully hydrated without being greasy. Love it!!”

Clearly, the actress knows her skincare products, and if we’re lucky, 2020 will see even more: As Lopez revealed to Good Morning America, “I’ve been working on a little secret package thing that I’m gonna release in the next year … because I do get that question a lot.”

She added that her “secret package thing,” is “just for your skin and … some other things.”

For now, however, we’ll settle for Dr. Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream and the other inexpensive product Lopez’s makeup artist, Scott Barnes, revealed earlier this year that he uses to help his mega-star client maintain her signature “J.Lo glow:” Neutrogena’s Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen Spray ($7.49, Target).
