Turkey-Prosciutto Sandwiches

Fresh basil adds bright flavor to this reimagined take on a leftover turkey sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices sourdough bread, from 24-oz. loaf
  • 2 cups sliced cooked turkey breast, about 8 oz.
  • 4 slices prosciutto 
  • 4 oz. Brie cheese, sliced
  • 4 fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Top 4 bread slices with sliced turkey, prosciutto, Brie cheese and basil. Top with remaining bread.
  2. In batches, in sandwich press, cook according to manufacturer’s directions; alternately, in grill pan over medium-low heat, cook, flipping once, until browned and cheese is melted, 3–4 min. per side, placing heavy skillet on top of sandwiches to press down during first half of browning.
