Splendid Strawberry Tea Recipe: Secret Ingredient Gives It Extra Fruity Flavor

This is sure to be your new favorite drink of the summer!

Brewing up a fresh batch of iced tea, especially during the warmer months, is a no-brainer. It’s cold, refreshing and keeps you hydrated. What’s not to love? Plus, this drink isn’t just tea bags and ice. Here at First, we kicked our Splendid Strawberry Tea recipe up a notch.

Instead of black tea, we use green tea, which has many health benefits. It’s high in antioxidants, can lower cholesterol, decrease the risk for certain cancers and more. Green tea is also milder in flavor and mixes well with different fruits. We pair ours with strawberries, and for a fun little twist, we add a secret ingredient: strawberry jam. Not only does it give the drink extra-fruity flavor, it adds the perfect hint of sweetness. There’s no way this drink won’t make it into your summertime rotation. Enjoy those sweet sips and let us know what you think in the comments below!
