Steak Heroes Recipe Cooks Up to Savory + Hearty Perfection in 15 Minutes

This sandwich comes together in just 15 minutes and boasts a combination of flavorful ingredients. Between the juicy steak, horseradish-spiked mayonnaise sauce and peppery arugula, this sandwich is full of sharp and savory goodness. All of these fillings are piled inside of soft hoagie rolls and then served. It’s the perfect sandwich to satisfy your appetite for lunch or dinner!

To add your own flavor touch to this sandwich, use watercress instead of arugula for a milder green. Also, you can minced garlic to the mayo mixture to turn it into a horseradish aioli that’s pungent and complements the other ingredients in the sandwich. Ingredients

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 frozen all-beef sandwich steaks
  • 2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbs. cream-style horseradish
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups baby arugula
  • 4 hoagie rolls, split

Instructions

• Coat nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat. Add onion; cook until starting to brown, 3 min. Add ⅓ cup water. Cover; cook until tender, 5 min. Transfer to plate. Coat same skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add steaks; cook until browned, 1 min.; stir in Worcestershire sauce.

• Mix mayonnaise, horseradish, ⅛ tsp. salt and ⅛ tsp. pepper. Divide tomatoes and arugula among rolls; top with steak. Top with onions; drizzle with mayonnaise sauce.
