Honey-Dijon Wings Recipe Bakes Up Extra-Crispy in the Oven Thanks to Our Easy Secret

Who doesn’t love digging into a big plate of crispy-fried chicken wings? They’re the quintessential finger food and a must-have on game day. But if you’re looking for a twist on the classic variety, then you’ve got to give our Honey-Dijon Chicken Wings recipe a try.

To make the glaze, all you need are four simple ingredients you probably already have on hand — honey, Dijon mustard, butter and hot sauce. The quick-prep sauce is the perfect combo of sweet and tangy. Plus, you don’t need a deep-fryer to make them. These crispy treats are baked in the oven so they cook up without mess and with a lot less added fat. The trick that makes them so crackly? We bake them at a high oven temperature on a rack set over a baking sheet. This ensures the heat circulates on both the top and bottom of the wings to make the delicious skin super crunchy. So whether you’re hosting a Super Bowl party, throwing a backyard bash, or simply craving a crispy snack, our Honey-Dijon Wings recipe is sure to be a hit.
